The Great Taste Awards 2020...
The results are in and we're blooming delighted to announce we've been awarded a further 18 Great Taste Awards this year, making us the proud winners of a whopping 67 Great Taste Awards and officially the best-tasting popcorn brand! What a way to mark our 10th birthday year!
Hailed as the “Oscars of the food and drink world”, the Great Taste Awards are awarded by the Guild of Fine Food every year based on extensive independent, blind taste tests. They are considered the world’s largest and most trusted food and drink awards.
In case you didn’t already know, all of our gourmet popcorn is lovingly created by Joe and his team of skilled pastry chefs in our London kitchens, following months of tireless experimenting and taste testing. To ensure our gourmet popcorn is always the very best-tasting we strive to do things differently! Although we can’t divulge all our secret processes, here’s some of the points that set us apart:
1. Firstly, we only use the finest all-natural ingredients including fresh creamy butter and moreish British Sea Salt flakes
2. Secondly, all of our gourmet popcorn is handmade with love, care and attention in small batches by our team of skilled pastry chefs.
3. Thirdly, Joe’s unique "flavour-sequencing" process allows us to lock in flavours so that they flourished on the palate at different intervals as you munch of our gourmet popcorn! If you fancy learning more click here.

2 Gold Star Winners
Salted Caramel Popcorn – our most popular flavour. It’s a marvellous contrast of sweet & salty, which is universally loved by all!
Judges said: What a heady nose of butter and caramel. We could happily eat our way through a ton of this popcorn… The butter (oh the butter!) is gorgeous helping to make this a deeply indulgent and delicious popcorn.
White Chocolate & Raspberry Popcorn – this indulgent treat is perfect for lazy afternoons curled up on the sofa!
Judges said: The texture is deliciously fresh, light, crunchy and airy. The popcorn dissolves, almost melts in the mouth like old-fashioned candy floss. Very clever!
Orange Chocolate Caramel Sauce – this zesty indulgence is wonderful drizzled in brownies or enjoyed straight out of the jar with a spoon!
Judges said: A smooth and glossy looking sauce with a divine viscosity, gently falling off the spoon. Salty, sweet, chocolate and orange, goodness. It’s a truly enticing and tempting treat.

Dark Chocolate Popcorn Bites - Truly tantalising, expect to bring your taste buds a new and deliciously decadent experience combining intense dark chocolate and a glorious popcorn crunch!
Judges said: Each one looks delicate and inviting with an aroma of dark decadent chocolate and buttery caramel. The two different textures are a wonderful idea and really do work well.
Vegan Salted Caramel Popcorn - Our most popular and loved flavour, now in Vegan form for those who enjoy indulgence and a plant-based lifestyle.
Judges said: Overall, the coating manages to be quite buttery even though we know that they are vegan which is very clever.
Vegan Toffee Apple & Cinnamon Popcorn - Devilishly tasty with an aromatic cinnamon finish. For those who enjoy both indulgence and a plant-based lifestyle.
Judges said: This is an impressive product which has been expertly executed and has a sense of fairground fun.
Vegan Coconut & Cacao Popcorn - An exotic coconut crunch with a delightfully rich finish. This tropical treat is specially crafted for those who enjoy both indulgence and a plant-based lifestyle.
Judges said: Clever execution that could have gone so wrong but is actually, spot on. The salt, caramel, coconut and cacao flavours were well judged and delivered a lovely taste experience.
Caramel & Belgian Chocolate Popcorn - a nod to the craftsmanship and traditions of the Belgian chocolatiers, this smooth treat is perfect enjoy curled up on the sofa.
Judges said: Fresh and toasty corn blends with a gentle caramel sweetness and comforting milkiness... This is a wonderful example of how a lightly sweetened popped corn should taste!
Maple Syrup & Roasted Pecan Popcorn - Satisfyingly sweet with a nutty pecan crunch! It makes the perfect autumnal treat!
Judges said: A deliciously crunch-and melt-in-the-mouth popcorn with a slight chew that makes you want to dive back for more.
Cheddar Cheese & Chilli Popcorn - A rich tangy dream, that also packs a fiery punch! It makes a wonderful addition to your cheese board!
Judges said: Very natural and inviting in appearance. A delightful balance of tangy mature cheddar and red chilli pepper work well!
Gourmet Popping Kernels - Specially selected by Joe to create the fluffiest, spongiest and tastiest gourmet popcorn perfect for hand coating in our famous caramel.
Judges said: With children, these would be so much fun and with no strong flavours inherent in the corn, these lend themselves to any flavours you might care to add!
